Ahlibank Launches "Request to Pay" Feature in Fawran

Doha, 16 September 2024 -Ahlibank is proud to announce the launch of the new “Request to Pay” feature as part of the Fawran payment service. With this new service made available, the Fawran platform will not only enable registered customers to make payments instantly but also provide the ability to request a payment from other users registered in the service with Ahlibank as well as other banks in Qatar, catering to the customers’ day-to-day transactions in a more flexible manner and improving the way they manage payments.
With the added "Request to Pay" feature, Ahlibank customers can send a payment request to other customers. The payer will receive the request, review the details, and choose to accept or reject the payment. Upon acceptance, the requested amount is instantly transferred to the payee, making the process quick, seamless, and secure.
This service represents a significant step forward in Ahlibank's commitment to providing innovative digital solutions that meet customers’ evolving financial needs. By launching this new feature, the bank aligns with Qatar Central Bank's Third Financial Sector Strategic Plan, aimed at enhancing the country's digital financial infrastructure.
